It was AWESOME!

So it was brought to my attention that I havnt wrote much about my time in the villages. When I stopped to think about it I figured it out. The only times I have time to write about my day are the days that we go out and do a fun day. I want you all to know that my time in the villages has been very rewarding. My last day in the villages I got to see Eddie. It was amazing. I was to happy that I got to spend a little bit of time with him. Even though it wasn't a lot I still had a lot of fun giving him everything I could find to give him in Chads backpack.  I wish I had the internet time to upload all of my pictures. I can do a simple blog but pictures are a little bit more complicated. My time here has been amazing and Chad and I can't wait to do it all again next summer. Im so happy he got to share this experience with me. Thank you all so much for your love, prayers and support. I can't wait to tell everyone all about it.

Almost time

Tomorrow I will post the Volcano pictures. Im so sorry I have not had the chance to think to do so. Tomorrow I will be going to Cerro Alto to visit a little girl that Peter met last year and hopefully a little boy that I met last year. I have seen his brothers at the school but Eddie is to young I guess to go to school. This little boy fell asleep on my lap last year and peed his pants on me. It was so cute I didn't even care. I also had a little girl ask me if I was going to adopt Eddie last year. I wish I could have said yes. It was hard to leave him here when I know I might be able to help provide a better life for this little boy. I really hope I get to see him tomorrow. Tomorrow will be the last day that Chad and I will be in the villages. We are going to Antigua on Wednesday and then we come home on Thursday.

I was telling Chad on the way home today that since the time for us to go home is so close Im getting kinda antsy. Im ready to come home because I know its almost time. If that makes sense. I have had a lot of fun and have made life long friends here in the house so it will be sad to leave. But I think Im ready.

Chads parents will be picking us up at the airport at 4:30 and then we are going to eat and then we are going to Mega Sports Camp to see my parents. I really hope I don't pass out. Thats going to be a long day for us. But I think I will have a rush of energy knowing that Im about to see my parents...and hopefully a nap on the way to the church??

I can't wait to see everyone and share about my trip! Love you all!

Thank You

I can't believe its almost time for us to come home. The time has gone by so fast. Today I am hoping to put up some volcano pictures. The new team went to Antigua and we stayed here for the night service they have here. We have not yet been able to go but tonight we will get to. Ive enjoyed my time here so much. Thank you again to all the people who made it possible for me and chad to come. I know this has been a wonderful experience for the both of us. We can't wait to come home and see our family and friends. I know we are both pretty much ready for that. We come home on thursday. Please keep us in your prayers.

To crazy for me

Its been so hard to get a chance to write. This week has been so crazy. There has been 70 people here this week. We had to rent an extra bus. Peter Hall came this week. Chad is so happy he has someone to talk "tech" to. Im wearing down. Im almost ready to come home. Which is good cuz its almost time. Ive barely have gotten to talk to my own mom. I want to say thank you to all the people who made it possible for me and Chad to come. We have had a once in a life time experience. I miss everyone and can't wait to tell all of my stories and explain all of the pictures I have posted. I will try to post more soon. We got to climb a volcano today. It was so cool. I can't wait to post the pictures to show everyone.

To much food!

Hello everyone. I hope your enjoying the pictures. they are very hard to upload here but sometimes i stay back from the group and help around the house and have the internet to myself. It is 9:15 here at night. It was a long day. We took a group to pane jachel (ha-chel). We went on the boat ride again and went to a hotel you can only get to by water. We ate nachos and fresh fruit smoothies. Then we went to go eat lunch with the whole group. Then instead of shopping with the group in the rain we went to a caffe and stayed dry while eating cheesecake and sipping on some hot chocolate. Then we went to a steak house. I ordered a small plate of rice and could not even finish it. You know how people sometimes go to foreign countries and lose weight?  Well the opposite is happening here. This will be the first week we spend the whole time with the group on the work site. Its hard to explain but there is another couple here and we can hand out with them if we choose to but we would rather be with the Greene family. Well last week we went out three days on the work site but didn't have to. This week the Greene family has a group and we have to go with them. But that is where Chad and I would rather be.

Happy Fathers Day to all the daddys out there. Special shout out to my dad.
